Troon Turns 2!
That's right, folks! You've never heard of me, but by gum, my country has existed since March 31st, 2003.
I'm not the oldest nation here (far from it) but I felt like celebrating all the same.
I've seen lots of things here. I've seen old servers which would cough, splutter and die at anything more demanding than four users on the forums. I've seen the rise and fall of a variety of different threads. I've seen the move to Jolt.
I've tried my hand at RP'ing (and sucked, badly).
I was a victim of last year's FABULOUS April Fools' Joke.
I have watched others created at the same time as I dwindle away to nothingness.
I have seen new guys coming and showing that they are a valuable member of the NS community. I've seen new Mods, old Mods leaving, and a lot of other stuff.
I've seen the rise of attractive young women playing this game with disturbingly high post counts (Tink, etc. Is anyone else freaked out by this? What are these women-folk doing here? Do they not know Internet forums are a place for lonely guys like us?)
I've seen LG get married and disappear for some time- that was weird...
I have no idea as to how many times I've seen an "Evolution vs Creation" debate.
I have matured, and I have learned a lot more about politics, people and life in general than I could anywhere else. And I'll be damned if I'm leaving anytime soon.
So thank you all! Enjoy yourselves! Wonder in mystery as to who the hell I am!

On a related note, tomorrow is April Fool's Day. What does everyone think they'll do to us? Resetting everyone's population last year was pretty good.

Also I've just realised that nations in the billions can be rounded to 3 decimal places, so I'm probably due to go to 3.995 billion anyway.
