If you could live in a world described in any of the most influential 'dystopian' novels, which would it be and why?

For me it has to be Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World', bar the forced euthanasia I really like the idea of organising humanity in a genetic sense. Ants have it right, my friends.

oh definately "Brave New Wolrd" its so much more effecient than "1984", why catch criminals, when you can simple genetically and phsycologically eliminate them.

None of them - they don't call them dystopias for nothing.

Others include the following, Soylent Green, The Sheep Look Up, A Handmaidens tale, This Perfect Day, Bladerunner (also called "Do androids dream of electric sheep"). Dystopias in general are crappy places to live in :D
