A British drill sergeant walks past a line of new recruits. He stops in front of one American.

"Are you an American?" he asks.

"No, I'm from Canada."

"What part?"

"...uh.. The non-French part."

"Non-French? My mother is French!"

"I meant Quebec, sir."

"Quebec is French, though!"

"Not all of it, sir."

"Not all of it?!"

"Yes, sir. I'm from the non-French part, sir."

Becoming quite angry, the drill sergeant yells, "Drop and give me 20!"

The recruit asks, "20, what?"

"Don't be silly."

"I'm not, sir."

"40, then."

"40 what, sir?"

"60."

"60 what, sir?"

"PRESSUPS!"

"...What's a press-up?" the American asks.

Ten minutes later, an officer walked by and gently smiled at what he saw.

"I am an ignorant American-ONE!"

"I am an ignorant American-TWO!"

"I am an ignorant American-THREE!"

And so on.

Well Plutophobia, while I have no love for the US at this point, as a humanist, I find many of your statements rather juvenile and...sad.

It is my firm belief that yes, Skapedroe and Plutophobia are one and the same. Their styles are nearly identical. If they are not then they are somekind of Moveon.org plant posters or something.

The British call pushups "pressups?" I dunno. I still want to know why a British drill sergeant would be training American troops in any case.

Guess who was supposed to go to Great Lakes, for Navy bootcamp, but is getting a passport and joining the British Navy instead.

Yeah I heard. But then, you've got British citizenship in any case, yes? I dunno, I guess in that odd case the joke might make sense. I shoulda given it the benefit of the doubt.

Good news is i haven't seen any Royal Navy ships being sunk for a long time. So it's a wise career choice :D

I don't think there are sergeants in the navy. Only in the Royal Marines, and those aren't really navy pooftas.

Yes, I'm half-American, half-British and I've got dual-citizenship.

My father's British and was in the American Navy. Not all people in the American Navy are American and not all people in the British Navy are British.

Uhmm, that has nothing to do with the point that a British drill sergeant will most likely never be in command of an American outfit. That'd be like a French drill sergeant instructing a Russian unit.

British drill sgt and Aussies? Yep, that could work, Commonwealth and all, though even that is unlikely.

Maybe, if it is an international unit and you have people from all over the world, then maybe it could work. Or, have some international training for enlisted or officers, yes, then. But with recruits? Lol, nope.

Considering that the American Special Forces are trained by SAS/SBS for at least part of the course I would say that the best American soldiers encounter at least one British Drill Sergeant. ;)

Join the Royal marines, they are very very very very very very very very very very very very hard, I know an ex one, he’s a lovely man, not partially built and doesn’t strike you as a killing machine, but he could if he wished kill me with his bear hands in a matter of seconds, he also possess the ability to never stop running.

Royal marines = insanely hard

I think you just didn't read it. Pluto has a dual citizenship (American/British, right?), and is apparently now in the British Navy.

I have an American/German citizenship, and if I am drafted (unlikely), I will be drafted into the German forces. Then I'd be an American serving in a German outfit. What's so incomprehensible about that?

I am pretty sure that Skape isn't Pluto, because the mods have issued a statement that if Skape kept doing what he was, he'd get perma-banned or something like that. If Pluto were Skape, Pluto would have gotten deleted by now.
