This is the house that our love built.
But we don't live here.
So it matters not if the floor is bare.
This is the house that our love built.
But we don't have to see it.
So let's not worry if the roof is split.
This is the house that our love built.
The windows are no longer there.
But what do we care?
This was the house that our love built.
Mourning has broken the person inside.
It's not our fault; we won't share.

And the "war against poverty" rages on...
Or hadn't you noticed?

I think Karl Marx lived here once.

Yes, when are we finally going to just admit defeat, (like vietnam), admit poverty won, and get on with our lives.

That's the problem with waging war against abstracts and adjectives. No, what you want to war against is clouds. Those suckers wouldn't see it coming.
