Religious claptrap. I had thought it might have been an economic analysis, which would have been believable, but this stuff, forget it.

I think it's funny that a Muslim is condemning the slavery of Africans, for the following reasons;

We bought a lot of African slaves from African slavers (For example, Shaka Zulu.). They were doing it to each other, we just capitalized on the market.

It is estimated that Muslims took as many white European slaves as Europeans and Americans took Black slaves in the same period of time.

And it also believes in some force of divine intervention. Precisely what crimes the predominately Muslim peoples of the Indian ocean who suffered due to the Boxing Day quake I don't know - indeed they'd be the very ones the west is exploiting - but meh, whatever. We all know Gods don't have to answer for shit. But it's never tyranny.

Pure 100% bullsh!t.
It reminds me of all the end of the world crap that was on tv in the 1990's.
With all kinds of dommsday predictions for the year 2000. They had everytihng from y2k bug to global flooding. And NONE of it happened.

So this is like the bible code, only with the koran?

I have a thouroughly insane friend who believes in the 'bibe code' , and she has been telling me for YEARS that the world will end in 2007 because the bible says so.

Man, in a couple of years, she owes me a *lot* of money.

Remember, Jesus was supposed to come back in 2004, and 1997, and 1982,75, and so on. This is exactly the same, just a different religion.
I wonder if the choice of America had anything to do with his own views?
Also, there are tons of nations who have commited "great sins"... I wonder if the Middle East will be hit by a tsunami? Or Europe? Total, unrefined BS propaganda.

They're blowing smoke up their own shorts.

They know they have no other way to defeat the US. They know that it's only a matter of time before the US steamrolls their radical enclave and throws their asses in cages at Guantanamo.

So they hold out the forlorn hope that God will save them by destroying the US.

Let's take the initative and hit them first.

I believe this about as much as I believe the guy who told us all the world would end in 2000. (the one who ran onto the track at Silverstone with a bag of bibles and some sign about how Jesus is great.)

In 2008 when the US is still here and going strong will they then be forced to scrap the koran and become secular? No, they'll just make excuses and keep on beleiving fairy tales like all hyper-religious nutjobs.

If by US he means Indonesia, and by 2007 he means 2005, then I agree with part of his analysis.

Muslims should face facts. Allah doesn't like them very much; at any rate they are always complaining about how unfair the world is &tc.

Let's think logically here...the Koran was written when? The US became a nation when? My point exactly. So the Koran refers to the arrogant, etc. It's not as though the US is the only country guilty of these crimes. I don't claim to know anything about the Koran, but from the passage it seems to me as though you could interpret it any way you want...

Interestingly enough, when Mosas split the red sea that actually happenned. Scientists found evidence of a great earthquake which sucked the water out and allowed the them to cross but the wave came crashing back killing the guys who followed. The wave was massive, like 2km in length!!!! So this is not the first instence in which tsunamis and religion have been associated together.

So is it coincidence that it's a tsunami, after the recent destruction?

Don't be so superstitious and believe the nonsense from that guy. He's just an ordinary doomsdayer. Tons of people predicted the end of the world / great disasters would come about... in the years 1000, 1999 and 2000. Didn't happen. Also, that tsunami reference makes it very clear that this is just the recent hoax by some desperate weirdo.

As long as it doesn't take out Canada when it goes.

The question remains: Should I make some popcorn while I watch it happen?

As a Muslim, I don't know if I believe it. If it does, I wouldn't complain

His fear, he said, is that the world economy, which relies heavily on the US dollar, would be deeply affected by the collapse of the US.

One of the signs of Qiyamat (Day of Judgement) is widespread inflation.

Yes, but that's all just stuff that some guy made up.

Look I could base my life around "the force" from star wars, doesn't mean it's real. It does however have just as much basis in fact.

Oh yes, "scientists", just like the "scientists" who said they found the arc at the mountain ararat. Nonsense, you will never hear again of this guy. If he really is an Scientist and dont just calls himself one, he will soon lose all respect in the scientific world because these special things are unproveable. (or stuff like that)
Oh and the best point: an fucking earthquake cant suck water! And also there could not an hole being created to suck out the water of the red sea. Holy hell, do you even know how much water that is?

Today real scientists mostly believe that the divided sea of moses was just a swamp, impossible to cross for the egypts and perfect fight area for the foottroopers of the hebreas.
