I'd rather debate with them then Conservatives. Today, I was thinking and I realized they aren't quite as loud as Conservatives. :)

I'm a Christian Conservative. I guess that means I'm not funny, entertaining, or interesting.

I'd debate with either, provided they'd curteously abide by a standard of decency which would allow a debate to actually take place. Shouting down one another is hardly my defintion of a debate - more of an argument.

Altho I find debating on here frustrating because it so often end in a flame fest :cool: :mad:

The critical term here is debate. I will debate with anyone, however some do not choose to debate back. There are posters who simply resort to ad hominems or blathering (good North of England term that) to avoid actually thinking about the subject. These individuals come from all parts of the political and religious spectrums.

I'm swaying nowadays. I'm mostly centrist but I'm swaying towards either side like every other week. I chose Christian Extremists.. I think.

As much as I see all elements of the right as my enemy, to say debating was not first and foremost constructive, a good solid cool headed argument can show the other the folly of their, and strengthen your own, that’s not to say I only see debates as a partisan way of converting people to my point of view, but it is an element for me, after all every time we express our opinions we are trying to prescribe it to others.

Plus people like Jesussaves (I know it was a puppet but I still miss it) and VoteEarly where great fun to wind up

Christian extremists are the most fun to debate with because they put such passion into their arguments. I want to feel like the person I'm debating with has some real feelings about what they're saying - otherwise I may as well debate with a brick wall. Also, it's tough to debate with someone whose viewpoints are not all that different from my own, and how different from my viewpoint can you get than a Christian extremist? For me, that's what makes it really fun and interesting!

As long as they ackowledge my opinions as well; or at least think about them. I hate people who tell me: "Your proofs don't count on Him." That's sooooo easy to say.

I refuse to debate with anyone who has adopted the ways of ignorance that poor Pilate tried to stamp out 2000 odd years ago...no actually, jokes aside, I think debating with a Christian is like debating with a brick wall. They just won't budge...and they do that annoying when you say "Prove God exists." ooooh "Prove he doesn't!" No you idiot, I asked first, and the second statement simply reiterates that you're blindly following something that can't be justified!

I'd prefer to debate with anyone, coz you never find anyone who's beliefs are EXACTLY the same as your own

There is nothing I love better than a good debnate with a mokneywrench.

I think extremists are extremly annoying and I extremly hate them. I'm... an extreme anti-extremist!
