I didnt expect this many people to reply to my topic so quickly! i havent had a chance to even respond before apparently this forum went completely off topic... so ill respond anyway...
Im with Amnesty International and ive been taking part in trying to prevent what happened with soldiers involved in the prison incident: yes they were in the wrong and they should be punished, but also even more so: any higher ups who may have authorized it should be punished as well (yes it may have been authorized or allowed to happen i dont know which but it has been happening even before Iraq) However the one reason why I say to continue to support the other troops that are doing their job is that they were sent in under false pretenses from above, therefore they are far in to deep to get out unless our president does something (even though he thinks nothing is wrong according to him at a debate) therefore i support our soldiers not for the war in Iraq, I support them for coming home.
Secondly: whether oil was involved or not is not an issue, its whether the connections to oil being involved not being investigated or silenced is an issue
third: Any President who goes war under false pretenses should not be trusted no matter what happened in the war. Therefore I do not trust the Current President of the United States, but I support the troops.
