I come here for serious discussion. I can't get any at my college [yes, that sentence is disheartening].

The Paradise Club threads irk me. If only because people seem to spend more time in that fantastical and shallow thread than pondering the questions that face modern society.

Most of us have too much RL already...we come here to escape. I watch American Idol and a Simple Life at night, simply so I can be mindless.

Seconded, PC is a good way to get out of all the serious threads which become flame wars all to easily. If you don't step back from it all and allow for a little imagination then its no fun.

A good satire thread.


Locked threads are good if the mod who locked it writes something funny, or at least explains why it was locked. I hate seeing a deleted thread where a mod has said 'no' in the reason bit, and I sit there wondering what I missed :( Back in the day, mods would give you a reason and an amusing quip after almost every locked thread.

I like my threads like I like my women; Good-natured, a little naughty and not overly analytical. :D

Read above post as to how my chest looks. And my camera and computer have decided they don't get along well. Like my comp crashes. It has made me very sad for lack of being able to goof off on NS with it.
