Are there any songs that you think you are "good" at singing?
I sometimes find myself singing Boyz II Men songs, and I can't help but think I sound pretty damn good when I sing "Thank You" or "Water Runs Dry". Girls love it when I do ;)

"When Doves Cry" by Prince.
I've done this kareoke-stylee, much to the heated applause of the wimmin-folk. Gyrations included.

anything by Snow
lol j/k
Bryan Adams - Heaven, Summer of 69, etc.
Josh Groban (mom made me sing You Raise(d) Me Up in church and it went splendidly well... i went into my operatic voice)
Boyz II Men (I'll Make Love To You gets terribly high toward the end, but I handle the grace notes/trills of songs like "End of the Road" and "Motownphilly" with relative ease)
George Strait (i have a smooth voice a bit like George's when i sing naturally... not rough like most rock singers or Tim McGraw, for instance)
etc.
upper (comfortable) range is B-flat above middle C ... much higher than that and either i'm screaming or in falsetto.
low limit is right around E (2nd E below middle C)
i am a 2nd tenor with range, sometimes, for 1st tenor
depends on how much i've had to drink and whether i've just awakened. in terms of the latter, the shower is my appraiser. lol

When I'm happy I sing Heartbreak Hotel with the words all wrong. If I'm a bit sad I sing Danny Boy and have good cry. I sing to my cat who likes Opera and Jazz especially Sweet Georgia Brown. I've been told I have a good voice but I come from A family of singers so my confidence is not always good and I am useless at remembering the words.

When sober theres a fair few songs I think I'm good at...unsure whether anyone else would agree with me on that :p I like singing Ayreon songs....oooh, and that Elton John one...."Your song"?
I can't sing anything particularly high....the C above middle C is as high as I can go before it gets painful.

I do best at singing hard rock (stuff like "Go Your Own Way" by Fleetwood Mac, "Fall From Grace" by Stevie Nicks, "I Need To Know" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, "Gimme Back My Bullets" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" by AC/DC are my best).
One song that doesn't fit that category that I've actually sung a cappella and did well with it is "Destiny Rules" by Fleetwood Mac (written by my girl Stevie Nicks).
I was told that I was by far the best at a karaoke event from my university course, but thats not saying much...

I sing for my church choir, though those songs are primarily religious in nature (I enjoy them, though). From pop culture, I can' only remember "Terain' up my heart" by N'Sync and "Hotel California" by... I don't remember who.

Well, Im quite sick right now - so I find myself incredibly good at singing the whiskey stained vocals from artists such as Bruce Springsteen, John Cougar, AC/DC, Rod Stewart, Eagles, Bryan Adams and so on. In fact, I was singing (alone in my car) pretty well the entire way home yesterday evening on a four hour drive... yeah, today I can barely talk... I really am the worlds biggest dork. :p

I could sing all Greenday songs really well before my voice properly broke - now it just comes out as a deep grumble :( But I can sing things like 'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica really well, and anything with lots of death metal-type roars in seem to come really easily...
Good? well not really. There are a few artists which I can manage not to embarass myself with while singing some of thier repitoiore. I can manage some Tom Waits (but not all, Raindogs for instance requires too much vocal control that I just don't have), almost all of Joey Ramone, all of Sid Viscous, and some of Lou Reed (his monotone sort of stuff). Essentially if an artist has ruined their vocal range through drinking and smoking too much and isn't using vocal control to make up for their lack of range I can manage a passable version if their range is within my limited one (I cannot do Bob Dylan for instance).

I wish! Haha! No, in reality my voice is very nonsuited to singing - its very deep and dry (I can do Johnny Cash... but really, who with a deep voice can't) The only reason my voice sounds like those listed at present, is because I've been sick for the last week so my voice is in a state of perpetual disrepair. I found it rather sad too, I was coming home from the mountain on Saturday and the two girls in the car with me were apparently quite enthralled by my voice and singing capabilities. I might almost be sad when my throat gets better now! Though, I think by singing all the way home last night I've prolonged the betterment of my throat for at least a little while... karaoke night here I come!! Woo!! :p
