Entertaining Propaganda
Whose propaganda is the most entertaining to read or watch?
I personally love Soviet/Chinese Communist poster decorations and statements. The red and yellow is nice, the workers toiling in the fields and looking forawrd to progress. Capitalist lackies and running dogs. Great stuff!!

I've always rather liked Nazi propaganda myself, but I hadn't seen much communist stuff until lately. I'd say those two tie in general.

I also love all those Chinese and North Korean propaganda that had such long-winded slogans - dunno why but I find them amusing

Hard to pick just one: I went with Capitalist because my mordant sense of humour finds the wild disconnect with reality wildly amusing.
Then again, the bold colours and lack of sophistication for any of the socialist/communist states is certainly entertaining, and all the cries of "Comrades" and "Brothers and Sisters" are pretty funny.

The propaganda that I have to put up with every single day, right here in America. Advertising. Therefore, I voted capitalist.

Yeah, Baghdad Bob was kinda funny... :D
But what about Baghdad Bush?
"Mission accomplished"
"Bring 'em on"
And whatever happened to being greeted as liberators?
Or to Iraqi oil revenues financing Iraq's own reconstruction?
Or the WMD's?

Baghdad Bob was a killer, I loved him.
"We are not afraid of the Americans. Allah has condemned them. They are stupid. They are stupid" (dramatic pause) "and they are condemned."
"We have destroyed 2 tanks, fighter planes, 2 helicopters and their shovels - We have driven them back."
"Now even the American command is under siege. We are hitting it from the north, east, south and west. We chase them here and they chase us there. But at the end we are the people who are laying siege to them. And it is not them who are besieging us."
"We will kill them all........most of them."
"It has been rumored that we have fired scud missiles into Kuwait. I am here now to tell you, we do not have any scud missiles and I don't know why they were fired into Kuwait."
"They are superpower of villains. They are superpower of Al Capone."
Question: Is Saddam Hussein still alive:
"I will only answer reasonable questions"
"They are not in Najaf. They are nowhere. They are on the moon. They are snakes in the desert..."
"We besieged them and killed most of them, and I think we will finish them soon."
"We are winning!"

My personal favorite:
(referring to Americans at Baghdad International)
"They are not at the airport. I will take you there and show you. IN ONE HOUR!" :D
(Note the quote is from memory, so it might not be exact.)

Adbusters. much more entertaining than ads.
Chinese obese babies are quite cute too.
CCCP propaganda is just impressive. Very good looking etc, but not very entertaining.
Any war propaganda is fun to watch for it shows the weakness and the absurdity of propaganda. In short the propaganda has to make from the enemy a baby-eating anti-christ. And the enemy propaganda does the same with you.

didnt Baghdad bob also say something like
- the americans are getting closer (to baghdad) this is good - it will make them easier to defeat -
anti-smoking/anti-marijuana adds can be funny - but only if your in a good mood - most of the time they just piss me right off

Have you read Discworld? Specifically Night Watch. "Truth! Justice! Freedom! Reasonably Priced Love! And a Hard Boiled Egg!"
Yeah! I'd march under THAT slogan!
Making fun of communists rocks XP especially if they're good-spirited and humour you. Alternately there's something to be said for hand grenades.
Yeah, I loved the Iraqi Information Minister too. Whatever happened to him?

"I speak better English than this villain Bush"
Well, he was right about one thing at least :D
My favorite actually has to be extreme religious propoganda. Whether it be a psychotic pamhlet distributed by Jack Chick or some crap I find on online from the 50's, I will always be amused.

NOW BOW DOWN TO YOUR LEADER, LOWLY DOGS OF YAKS!
*cough*
I find Nazi propaganda too historically marred to be funny, but WWI propaganda is hilarious.
The East Germans had a rather entertaining propaganda machine. They had neat songs with childish rhymes to entertain the folk-music loving dictators. Just listening to "Die Partei" (the party) makes me crack up. They sing about how the party gave the people everything and how it defends the people. And the rhymes are just comical.
