Members of a violent Central America-based gang are now targeting Americans citizens in Arizona, here where I live. This situation may blow up into total choas. "Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, have issued orders to teach "a lesson" to the Minuteman volunteers." These Minutemen will be patrolling the border and reporting (not confronting) sneak-ins from Mexico.

Fighting along the Mexican-American border, quite historical really.
I wonder how much the Mexican government will do to try and stop this gang, assuming they are n fact really going to do this and this story is not just crap.

They will do nothing, just as they have done all along. They will probably issue another comic, this time on how to kill Americans.

Given arizona state gun laws the gangbangers might have a harder time at that then they think.

While at the same time whining that the US is trying to stop people who want to leave Mexico. I love Mexican comics, so informative, so well illustrated. I wonder if they come scented like those new stories we are all hearing so much about.

It's going to be real interesting around here for a while. Maybe this is the push that our government needs to finaly take care of the illegal sneak-in problem.

Not that I doubt the validity of your situation, but you DO know that the Washington Times is a Reverend Moon owned "newspaper" full of pro-Moonie propaganda and makes a much better birdcage liner than it does an information source......

Yadda yadda yadda. That gang is up here where I live as well. They seem to excel mostly at killing each other.

If they really had balls, they would have done something already instead of talking about it.

I guess we will find out here soon. If these gang members show up, and the shit hits the fans, maybe we can confront the illegal sneak-in issue head on.

Do they really call it an "illegal sneak-in issue"? I know that question is totally irrelevant to the topic at hand, but it seems a rather unprofessional kind of title...

Damn, I guess I picked a bad week to head to Nogales for presciptions.. but it's the only weekend I have off this month. :(

Still, I hear those Minuteman volunteers are largely ex-military retirees, in which case, the gangs are gonna have a hard time intimidating them. :)

Plus the members will not be confronting the sneak-ins, just reporting them up the Border Patrol.

Are you seriously thinking that they will only have pistols?

Are you doing the MMP? I'd really like to hear your experience of it afterward if so. It's going to be interesting.
