Been to war, love peace when you can get it, hate men who beat their wives, carry a gun to be safe, can afford to be calm because my wife and I carry all the time.

Remember not to be afraid of the gun. Be afraid of the man. A gun gets all of its morality from the man who carries it - if he's a violent abusive son of a bitch, then you should be afraid even if he doesn't have one.

If more women regularly carried guns, more men would be a lot more polite.

That's like me, I don't have much of a life once it gets past 4 PM (US eastern). I take most Honors courses in High School, including one that's a grade ahead of me and is taught by a Harvard professor/biologist. I get a lot of work, and the tech stuff takes up time too. I love to draw, sculpt, paint (with oil bars, though, more than with brushes), decorate (both my apartment and myself!), and dance. I also have taken a massage course, and enjoy practicing! But I am not sure that art can really count as my hobby, because I am getting my degree in fine arts and I hope to be able to make a living off of it!

I get so much out of paintball. It's alot like chess, some moves people can make only if they are willing to take risks. Adrenaline flows and I get in the zone alot. Time slows and speeds up and for some reason, I have enough energy to play it all day. When I stop paintballing, that is when I collapse. It's like I am only held up by my adrenaline. In a 24 hour scenario game, I was in it for every hour of the game and I put myself into very intense moments. Sometimes the sound of the paintguns discharging would mold into one big roar. I am always the frontman or scout. In the middle of the most intense moments on the field. I was 20 feet away from a tank battle for a while.

I also was on a rookie tournament team for a while. It's harder to remember most of the games, but they are more intense than the scenario games. It's just that they are always the same every time. Nothing seems to change except how you take the field off the break.

I read, mess with computer programming, play guitar and keyboards, and mess around with random stuff all over the house.
Erm, I can't adequately explain "messing around", so I'll give an example:
Right now, on the wire shelf over my desk, I have two clothespins clipped to it with a pencil on the other end, with a hook dangling from it. I don't know why, I just felt like it.

Hmm... I made something like that once before. Well... It didn't work out well. Not well at all. The pencil I had dangling from the strangely-tied string somehow catapulted and hit me in the face. Yes, with the pointed side.

I broke the pencil and dumped its remains in my trash can.

-Flying - I'm a glider pilot so all you guys who thinks its amazing flying and all, try doing it without an engine. hehehe. Actually if my plans go right I'll be powered pilot as well by then end of the summer

-Snowboarding - I own a Ride Exhile and am saving up for some Forum Destroyer Boots and Bindings. I love the snow, just cruising down a mountain. Love it. Even better when its warm out and I can go in a t-shirt and shorts (making sure not to biff cause then I'd get really soaked).

-RC Cars - I own a Tamiya Super Hornet, my premier backyard basher. tough little shit it is, took out my dads Losi XXX-Sport. If we had a track around my place and if i had money, I'd live at the track.

-Computer Stuff - Like wasting time on my Powerbook.

-Cars - Anything that has at least 4 wheels and 4 cylinders is my best friend. I'll take a Ferrari F430 and an F40, an Aston Martin DB7 Zagato (nothing beats a hand built), a BMW M5 and a Mazda MX-5 Miata (my dads got one and its a blast in the twisties).

-Music - Gob is the best Canadian band ever. End of story. Indie rock is awesome. My friends band, Adenoma, is pretty sweet. They are playing a show at the Starlite Room in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Pretty big considering they are unheard of outside of my high school. The older rock and punk is where it is at too. The Clash are cool. Same with Queen, rock-opera gods. Van Halen, Hendricks, someone should have bronzed their guitars or something. Twisted Sister, oh ya, you want 80s metal, you got 80s metal. Longhair, platforms, and makeup included.

Think thats about it for hobbies. :D

Let's see. I like to play bass guitar, and I'm pretty good if I do say so myself. I'm working on building a complete collection of all music on the planet that I deem, and therefore is solely, great. I like playing baseball, although I don't find myself playing much anymore so I've had to be content with watching it. I'd like to love cars, but I don't have the money to play around with them. Yet. I like stomping all over everyone in first person shooters and strategy games. Of course, like most here, I'm a political junkie. The vast majority of the time I spend on the web is spent reading or writing about things related to politics. I like to read (non-fiction, almost all fiction books are an utter waste of time) and I try to do that as often as I can. At least I like to tell myself that I do. I haven't been reading nearly as much as I used to and that's not a good thing. I should make a conscious effort to do so. If I didn't have at least a book on the table next to my bed being actively read I used to feel like I was missing something. Now I don't even have that. Sad.

Used to like women. Apparently that's not an option anymore, despite my protests. Now if I so much as glance up from my shoes I get the dirtiest look you'll ever see.

I used to think I was bad at sports... But, come to find out, I was just slow. At first. I found it funny that I kicked almost everyone's ass at Soccer back in 3rd Grade, and it was the first time I played it!

First, we did one-on-one training. I beat everybody but this one kid, Chris, who was the best player on his team. Even still, I came close to beating him.

Then, we played a short game, and I came second in goals scored. After the game, other kids were coming up to me and asking if I'd played Soccer a lot. I even got complements from the two P.E. teachers!

But, I had a "meh" sort of attitude, because I really didn't like Soccer too much, and I still don't. I respect it, of course, but I mean, I like Football a lot more.
