WTFOMG! Every day, we devour thousands of those poor teutons and bohemians a day!, in fact the odds are you did too!

Frankfurters and Hamburgers are devoured constantly by Americans, and there seems to be no response from the democrats or republicans.

Hans Abführender of the German green party has this to say: "I cannot believe zat such tragedy could happen in such a civilized nation! Ve must stop ze practice of German eating az soon az possible!"

Stunning, no?

Mustard on everything, everything. Mustard on potato chips, fish, salad, cake, butter, toast, cheese crackers, a spoon, in coffee. Honestly, you just can't go wrong with mustard.

You know that Germans also have a pastry called an American?
Berliners are only referred to as Berliners in the Berlin area... everyone else either calls them Pfannkuchen or Krapfen... mistaken as they are.

I've never heard of a pastry called an American in Germany, but Berliners are also referred to as Berliners in other areas (such as Switzerland). A Pfannkuchen would be a pancake as far as I know. Never heard it used in the Berliner sense.
..but of course I don't live in Germany and therefore don't know for sure.
