I'd say a week before the ice caps reach 30* degrees of latitude. Once that happens, it's all over baby.

OOC: I remember reading about that 30* latitude thing on a science magazine article about "snowball earth", where the entire planet is one big iceball. It has happened before (but without the Titans or the superstorm, of course :D ), and it delayed the evolution of life tremendously.
