I went to bed, but once again it was a failed experiment... why can't I get more than 5 hours (at a push) sleep a night?

egads... I mean I'm up now. Ignore above. And I might attempt wit... or sardonicism... or cogency. Don't hold out on that last one though.

I break it up now and then by re-reading posts I didn't feel like responding to in the hopes that I'd find something to get bent about...but then I don't. Then I'll fiddle with my bookmarks until I realise that if I knew my way around the internet I probably wouldn't spend so much time here anyway...

Somehow I knew you'd turn up!

That looks good... But, I just had a huge chocolate bar, so no thanks.

Meh, I know my way around the intarweb, and I spend most of my time here :D.

I post, read stuff, and listen to music. I'm listening to the Russian Varyag right now, and I must say --- It's a very nice tune.

I'm watching Alien Apocolypse staring Bruce Campbell while I contemplate whether to a)make a sandwich (which would then involve more Campbell and screen refreshing) b) playing a video game and listening to radio dramas on the net or c) Going outside and having my last cigar for at least a week.

And I'll kill some of that time telling people who cannot possibly be interested enough to have made the effort worth it....

If you wanna hear the Varyag, here's a link (don't worry about the URL; I'm not affiliated with this site in any way, so don't start wondering).

http://www.thepaganfront.com/brangolf/sounds/R_varyag.mp3

It was never produced by any company, so it's perfectly legal.

Didn't catch Alien Apocolypse. Is it a new series, or an original movie?

It's "How to remake Planet of the Apes with out really making Planet of the Apes." Frozen astronauts come back to earth to find man enslaved by space termites here for our trees, leads rebelion.

That song improved the tone of the film, thanks.

Ah, so it is an original movie. I'm sure I'll catch it sometime (gotta love Bruce Campbell).

And thanks for downloading the song --- It really does kick ass. The Russians really know how to make a good march.

Speaking of marches, here's a German one that is relatively unknown.

Go ahead, it's really worth a listen!

Interesting. Can't understand a word of Russian, so the words sound like some drunken raving lunatics to me (albeit cultured ones), but it's definitely different to anything else I've heard. Strong voices they have though.

That doesn't help me a bit, I have NO SOUNDCARD. I did watch the Bruce Campbell flick though, my roommates love him. This from the twerps that wouldn't let me watch Fried Green Tomatoes today because it didn't have explosions in it.

On Mythbusters they try to disprove various urban legends and myths. This frequently ends up with something exploding. The two guys that do it used to be in stuntwork. If things don't blow up in the experiment they find some other way to make it blow up.
They did one with making and firing a wooden cannon. When it fired fine without exploding they packed it with four pounds of gunpowder and forced an aluminum plug into it. Then they lit it and it blew to smithereens. The boys would just love that job.
