are you asking what is wrong with your religion, or are you wondering why people are always confusing your religion with others?
for the first question: there are no facts supporting the validity of any of it
for the second: people in power see things with two sides: 'us' or 'them'
aside from being the famous bush quote, it is also a quote used by the nazi party to entice people to jump on the bandwagon and be a part of 'the next big thing'
it also explains words like 'gentile' (anyone not jewish) and 'alien' (anyone not <insert nationality here>)

(I was actually bored of talking about christianity)
There's no fact supporting the validity of any religion, as we've seen. Well, few anyway. It's all belief based. And that doesn't explain people who see Christianity, Judeasm (sp), and Islam as valid religions but not Wicca
"I don't think witchcraft is a religion. I would hope the military officials would take a second look at the decision they made."
-G.W. Bush (R), as Governor of Texas. Interviewed on ABC's Good Morning America, 1999-JUN-24 by Peggy Wehmeyer. Bush's comment was in response to the Wiccan soldiers at a military camp in Texas being given the right to meet together on base -- the same right as has always been given to Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc.
As long as your religon doesnt hurt anyone, or thing, your fine by me.

The Western World is full of misguided idiots, what can one expect after 2 millenia of one religion being dominant?
As for the Bush quote, I'm inclined to agree with him, but only for his choice of words. He said Witchcraft, which I don't think is a religion either, it's a practice. Witchcraft is often blended with Pagan religions but is not a religion in itself. I know what he means, and that's Wicca and Paganism, which are legitamate religions and should be treated as such, just like Satanists (Go UK!).

bush is not a good example, he is convinced that christianity is superior

Right, but he called Wicca "witchcraft". Thus, he's getting it confused by your definition.

You might be surprised by this, you might not, but I certainly was:
A teacher of mine in high school was convinced that Wicca involved human sacrifice.
I, for one, am amazed at the ignorance that abounds about the various flavours of paganism.

Some of it also comes from people abusing Pagan Religious observances for Commercial Tee-Vee. (anyone remember Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer? How many negative stereotypes can you combine in a single character?)
Wicca is a serious practice, but it's not VooDoo or something. Unfortuneately, even many who claim to support and/or practice it are shockingly ignorant.
It also doesn't help that Al Crowley and that piano-player stole a bunch of Pagan religious symbolism for that "Satanic Church" of theirs.
(A theft right up there with the Nazi's hijacking the Swastika.)
The real problem (and it's no small matter) is that as hard as the Pagan Community works to not-be-mistaken for media stereotypes and bad fiction, the image hangs on like an oversize leech, from the kids who think they're "doin' magik" because they got a book a Hot-Topic or "The Magickal Garden" to the bible-thumpers who're certain that Pagan Beliefs are the Devil's back-door to innocent souls... the stereotype is pushed. Even by those who claim to be practicioners.
Not all Pagans are Polytheistic, Not all Pagans are Wiccans, nor do all Wiccans sit there snorting incense and trying to curse/cure people. Just like not all Christians are holy-rollers or obnoxious southern-baptist teevee preachers.
Unfortunately, both Pagans, and Christians, share one common trait above all others in America: they're mischaracterized in the popular culture as something they are not.

He's George Dubya Bush, he's always confused and making errors in his speech.
Cadillac-Gage, the inverted pentagram and other Satanic symbols used by the CoS were used by 'Satanists' for centuries before hand. If you want to attack a religion for stealing stuff, look at Christianity, a large portion of it is stolen.

Hmm?
Crowley was with Golden Dawn and the Ordo Templi Orientis. You know, with the "Love is the law, love under will" stuff.
Anton LaVey was the one who started the Church of Satan.

Alister Crowley and LaVey were in it together at the beginning. But then they split.

Aleistair Crowley died in 1947. Anton LaVey was born in 1930. The Church of Satan was founded in the late 1960s.
No, they weren't in it together.
EDIT:
However, LaVey did take many of Crowley's teachings, and the CoS relies on many of them. But Crowley himself wasn't a Satanist.
