I'd say cockroach. Although starving to death doesn't sound that fun, anything that is able to live for nine days without a head probably isn't geared up to feelnig much pain.

Actually, once there was a chicken that went on living with its head cut off for a few years, before it choked on a piece of food. They missed the brain stem when the head got hacked off. Weird, huh? :p
