Who around here is a fan of The master Detective Sherlock Holmes? I Am a proud one :D I even got the old Radio Programs from the 20s, 30s, and 40s! :D

1: In the books he never says "elementary Watson"
2: He is never described as wearing a dearstalker in the books

I liked Rupert Everett as Sherlock Holmes if that counts?
I bought a book of Sherlock Holmes stories the other day, mostly because it was the only slightly-interesting English-language book in my local book shop, and it's good, so I think I may be turning into a fan :)

I read all the novels and short stories about 13-14 years ago now. Classics!
I also think the British (ITV) series with Jeremy Brett is brilliant. It stays very true to how Conan-Doyle portrayed Holmes.
Is it wrong that I misread this as "John Holmes Fanclub"?

They've been putting the stories one a day on BBC radio 7 at the moment which you can listen to online. I like the voice of the guy who plays Holmes - Clive merrison I think - it just seems absolutely perfect for the part.
