"Of course, the big question is whether it will be possible to see dinosaur DNA. "We don't know yet. We are doing a lot in the lab now that looks promising," Schweitzer said."
UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!
Sounds cool. I always said that Jurassic Park could happen, though not on such a disastrous scale (it would be highly unlikely, but it could happen).

From the BBC report here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4379577.stm) I understand that they are not sure if it is not a soft form of fossilisation. At least thats what I think it says...

I dunno, I think that thanks to today and the advances in genetic research that soon society will be able to map out any genetic code. So, some scientist could in theory send out the genetic code of a dinosaur to some less then scrupolous groups and well, they could grow some beasts out in the middle of nowhere and then unleash them upon some city

there is the problem that there isnt really ne thing big enough for us to grow one inside yet (due to the technicalities of cloning requiring a "mother") except for an ostrich...but w/e still awesome
The cloned T-Rex must be turned into a cyborg war machine.
