NationStates2 will have a fee when it's released. Around $5 a month.

By viewing this website, I'm inspired to buy his book. He is making money off this site, and shouldn't be charging for it. I sure as hell will not be paying $5.00 a month to view a website when there are quite a number of others out there.

Perhaps not directly (the ads on the forums fund Jolt rather than Max's pocket), but definately indirectly as marketing for his writing. He's established himself a nice niche as a cult writer thanks, in part, to the success Nationstates.

I use several ad based free services ... Including YAHOO, BATTLE.NET, etc...
There is always some stupid Kids who complain about the ads...
I wonder if they prefer to pay 5$,10$ or 20$ a month.
The Super Bowl is Ad bases...thanks God...i would not like to pay some $100 to wach it.

Cult is right. The book is holding down the number 7000 spot on Amazon. They bundle it together with _Syrup_ and sell them both for less than $20. This will probably get me banned right away, but I read the first chapter and it isn't something I'd buy. NationStates is kind of a clever marketing idea. I wonder if it pays for itself?

I hardly think you'd be banned for simply expressing your taste in books. I did buy JG, and I did enjoy it, but it's not the kind of book I'd reread just for the sake of it.

He is making money on his book that I bought it was 12.50 and from that money he gets %12 of the cost of the book
I also wonder if he pays for this site>?<
