Please cheer me up

Branin

Please. Find something to cheer me up. I am at the very bottom of my game. Do something, anything, to cheer me up. Please

EDIT:

A lot has happened in the last 24 hours. I've learned a good deal about the situation and have begun to forgive them. My gf is not in it as deep as I though at first, and is taking me back. I going to eventually be able to complete forgive them both, it will be hard and take a while, but things are as they should be. This has been the hardest 24 hours of life, and I would like to thank all of you guys for trying to help. For not really even knowing any of you guys you're all great friends. (E-friends? )

(I realize above story doesn't make to much sense without details, but that is all I can share for now)

that is a double whammy :( When you thought the two people closest to you have betrayed you...well look at it this way (i know it's easier said than done) but you don't want to spend the rest of your life with someone that would cheat on you, especially if you wouldn't cheat on them. YOU'RE TOO GOOD FOR HER, and your best friend is going to be out of a best friend too! There are better people out there for you!

play one of your favorite songs, eat your favorite food, watch your favorite funny movie (Office Space always cheers me up) and talk to someone who will listen..then after you feel a little better, go hang out with lots of people-go party!

good luck ;) feel better :)

Hey, I had that happen to me!

And he wondered why I couldn't trust him anymore. HA!

Anyway, it turns out that after high school, she cheated on him, and they got back together. Then he cheated on her and she couldn't forgive him so she dumped him. I had to laugh at the irony and I was very pleased that they both ended up feeling exactly the same as they made me feel.

Just imagine that's going to happen, if you're the vengeful type.

I once had a guy break up with me literally over AIM, saying "I've got a date with a local girl." that was his breakup. He was off at college, right...

nearly hung myself a week later.

Life sucks like hell, but if it hadn't been for him I'd never have met my current boyfriend and we wouldn't be together now

When your life's goin' wrong, when the fates are unkind
when you're limping along and get kicked from behind
tell yourself, how lucky you are!
When the news is all bad, when you're sour and blue
when you start to get mad you should do what I do
tell yourself how lucky you are!
Why decry a cloudy sky,
an empty purse, a crazy universe?
my philosophy is simply:
things could be worse!
So be happy you're here, think of life as a thrill
and if worst comes to worse (as we all know it will)
thank your lucky stars you've gotten this far...
and tell yourself how lucky you are!

Cheer up lad, do you have any idea how many women are out there? ;)
I know love can hurt and when it is ended in the same way yours did, well, then there is nothing any person can say to make it better.
If you think about it why would you want to be with a girl like that? Really, if she is like that then you do not want to be with her PERIOD!!! Find a better lady and there are plenty of them that are even better then your X. It takes time, I know but how much fun are you going to have on your own man. ;) PARTY!
Forget about her and move on with a few one night stands and then meet a fine girl that you can be with. Hope this helps, a litle at least.
But remember, never be disrespectfull of women! If she (not your X) wants a one night stand and you do to then it is okay.

i know we're two probably completely different people, but music generally helps me out big time. 'all along the watchtower' by jimi hendrix chears me up 99% of the time. try to think about anything else. when i listen to that song i just zone out to the song, and it makes me feel better. 'voodoo child (slight return)' by hendrix is also a very good pick-me-up song. "stand up next to a mountain, and chop it down with the edge of your hand. pick up all the peices and make an island, might even raise a little sand" <---thats from voodoo child, although altered a tiny bit, you probably get the meaning of it. i know that this probably wont sound true to you, but this is true, you can do way way better than both of them.

telegraph me if you wanna talk about it, or yell at me to blow off some steam, to rant about something, anything at all. i dont know ya, but i'll gladly listen to ya. you can blow off as much steam as you would like at me. if theres anything i can do to help ya, just lemme know.

get raging drunk, call your ex, pour out your soul, make a total ass of yourself.

Wake up the next day with her 15,000 miles away and one bad hangover. A week later you'll feel better.

If you don't want that, I suggest one of two things:

1. Get a block of ice and a plank of wood. Attach ice to wood. Find the nearest hill and slide down it. Repeat as often as necessary.

2. Go play bumber cars with a bunch of five-year-olds. Scream just like they do and you'll be okay.

Bumper cars is great with preschoolers. I drove a bumber car with my cousin Joey once. That kid's a lot of fun.

After one day? Took me months. And I still had to see both of them everyday. It's hard and if it was a serious relationship, it's not going to go away in a night.

Cut them both out of your life. They're spineless, disgusting people, and you shouldn't waste any more time on either of them. You deserve better, and *they* don't deserve any sort of second chance, period.

I had the exact same thing happen to me, give or take a couple of details (am a girl, for one). Cutting the jerks out of my life for seven months (so far) was the best thing I ever did for me.

If you see them daily (due to work or school), ignore them. Don't let yourself feel guilty about any awkwardness in the atmosphere, and don't let yourself get drawn into social interactions with them.

And then, if that doesn't help, get an anonymous online journal. Then go hunt out psychological reports about sub-clinical sociopaths and manipulators, and post up excerpts with the bits that remind you of your ex and ex-friend bolded.

...

Well, it sure cheered me up, anyway... took half a year or so, but I'm pretty much happy as Larry nowadays (well, assuming Larry is a fairly cheery chap, naturally...)

Oh, dude...that's tough...

I ran into someone at the shops today who almost destroyed my professional reputation about 2 years ago, and had the gall to say hello, as if nothing had happened. I'm feeling a tad tender about it, so I pepped myself up with thoughts of how I'll be in a higher wage bracket than that person by the end of the year, and how I might 'forget' to brake if I see them crossing the street at night...

While you're waiting for time to make that kind of vindictive thought second nature, howabout some jokes?

Q: How do you get a goth out of a tree?
A: Cut the rope

Q: How do you circumcise a redneck?
A: Kick his sister in the jaw

I should probably not be allowed near a computer! :)
