I have been to a public clothing optional beach in California (San Diego)...I can't rememeber the name of it, though. Anyway, I chickened out and left. Even though I knew no one, I still felt weird.

I went off exploring sand dunes on Fuerteventura and came across a nudist beach. Me and my bf were walking down the beach when he said "that guys naked!"...I went "sshhh....don't stare at the poor man". Five minutes later, we realised that everyone was naked. Overweight, sunburnt, and naked. Nice.

I haven't done so yet, but I'll try next time I've gone.

There's one called Hippy Hollow near Austin. I worked at the 7-11 nearby. Women would sometimes come in topless, which drove my manager bonkers. But I never went to it myself.

That reminds of one time when it was raining. I was working at a depanneur (Convenience Store in Quebec) and this girl walked in with a wet white shirt. My manager fainted. :rolleyes:

I've been known to do many things naked in public at times... inhibition doesnt seem to suit me as well as my birthday clothes do. ;)

The human body is a masterpiece in all its glorious forms and yes I really wrote that. But then again, studying each curve, each muscle to do just the right shading for hours on end, you tend to appreciate your subject a whole lot more.

Me, I've never been to a nude beach.

But I have walked around naked (at home in my privacy) once in a while.

I went to one in St. Johns by accident. We didn't relise it until we saw an old frence lady with her top off. It was seriously gross.

There are more nudists in my state than any other. Even small towns on the coast have clothing-optional beaches and clubs.

Trust me, you don't want to see these people taking the no-clothes option.

I had the opportunity to go to some beaches in Europe - none of them were completely nude beaches, but in all of them one could go topless if desired. So, like a good little tourist, I followed the maxim: when in Rome, do as the Romans do! I thought it was lovely, even if it took some getting used to at first. I was very careful with applying sunscreen, though!

I have been completely nude in private coves and pools. I love being outside and feeling the sun warm me and the water flow over my skin!

You all need to loosen up a bit! Yes, sometimes there are unattractive or plain people at nude beaches, but it's not necessarily about checking everyone out! In fact, people seem to respect boundaries better at beaches where nudity is allowed.

The whole point is just enjoying being at the beach!

In Florida there were some good looking babes playing voleyball in the nude. Some on the beach. But then there were also, grandmothers. Oh, and for the ladies, there were men of all adult ages.

ive let it hang loose once or twice on a beach, i had a very funny experiance (as well as disterbing) where a realy old grosly overweight woman was getting out of the sea (naked) and about 100m up the beach there was a walrus doing the same thing, it was like seing double, quite horrific.but appart from that i have very few inhabitions so i wasnt to bothered. :headbang: lol i love this guy

Ya know ... I don't recall ever seeing beach patrol. I'm not saying they don't exist, I've just never seen them anywhere outside of TV.

I've been nude on non nudist beaches, and on nudist beaches.

The reason you don't go around checking everyone out is that your body shows your interest! More obvious to guys but you can see girls move around uncomfortably (my first choice of words was way to descriptive).

I wouldn't dare. After all, I don't think it would be fair to dazzle you all with the wondrous beauty that is me, then dash your hopes by leaving.

Okay, I went to a beach in Florida where this 70 year old man was very tan and VERY wrinkled and he was wearing a thong. :eek: Don't think I could handle a nude beach! :p
