Ha, you thought I was going start another who's better thread...
Well no! But they have inspired this one.

There has been few threads praising and putting down this two fellows.
(I'm talking about Bush jr) Well I ask you: Is here anybody who voted (or would
have voted, if possible) for both of them? Why? I'm curious because most
of here say the other saved/is saving the U.S and the other
destroyed/is destroying the U.S. The fact is both of them got majority of
the votes... So tell us your reasons. I would really want to know from those
who actually voted for their reasons.

No flaiming please...

Actually, Bush didn't get a majority of the votes in his first election.

Never mind that, though.

I voted for Clinton twice. I don't think Bush is destroying the US. I think the people who slap a magnetic yellow ribbon on their car and say "Well we should just go ahead and back him cuz he's the President" are destroying the US.

Never mind that whole "eternal vigilance" thing. Let's just let Bush do what he wants and never say boo about it. After all ... he is Kin ... errrr ... President.

Of course, never mind that the same people who're saying that now demanded a Congressional hearing every time Clilnton farted. After all ... he was just the President.

Voted for Clinton's first term - then he buttraped the Democrats who voted for him.

Didn't vote for Clinton the second time around.

Voted for Bush both times.

I don't see Bush and Clinton as being that far apart philosophically. I don't go by what a candidate says - that's always bullshit. I go by what they support. Here we have two right of center candidates who attack foreign countries on little or no provocation, and engage in military adventures overseas using America's high tech weapons. Who both favor big business.

The side issues of abortion, etc., are just a smokescreen. The big difference between Bush and Clinton is that Clinton could get a 19 year old girl to suck him off and Bush doesn't.

No one wants to admit they have anything in common with the opposition, but you're right they aren't really all that different.

Oh, and if you're in the room with either one of them, they both give you the feeling that you should check later to see if your wallet is still in your pants.

This is true. One key difference, though, is that Bush will remove the condom and Clinton would remove the money. ;)

This is what I've been trying to say to the partisan Americans (particularly the "liberal" Democrats who like Clinton).
