*The clearing was concealed only by thick undergrowth and tangles of vines. The terrain was unsteady, with random chasms and rocky outcroppings scarring the landscape, making land travel difficult at best. However the clearing itself was much different. Still the perimeter of black roses kept their silent vigil, but their thorned vines reached skyway, entwining with a liquid darkness to form a network of spiderwebbing across the area. The webbing was strong yet flexible, pulsing with a low power. And nestled among the strands, carefully hidden were 4 cocoon-like objects about the size of an adult.*

*Gael soared over the treetops, ambling her way towards the nearing club. She closed her eyes, soaking up the residual power as it traversed the forest, effectively scattering the source. With a hard look about her, she landed silently on the balcony and entered the bar with a timeless fluid grace.*
