When I came to the site there were no latest threads...

I assume you mean the nation states main page didn't show a few active threads. It probably couldn't connect to the Jolt servers for some reason. No big deal, I've seen it happen a few time it goes away soon.
some threads I posted on earlier are gone...

Nah, it was a recent one based on cars.
How is piracy not stealing?according to some posters... because:
1) it's not a physcial item...
2) you are not actually depriving the person of the movie/song.
3) the record companies are crooks.
4) it's not a felony but a tort.
5) played on the radio... played on your PC... what's the diff.
6) hey, those that purchased a copy of the CD are giving me a copy... so it's not stealing.
