...the difference between right and wrong, and legal and Illegal?
Do you believe there is a difference at all?
How did you come to this conclusion?

Right and wrong go with my personal morals, legal and illegal go with other people's.

"ight and wrong" versus "legal and illegal" or,
"right" vs "wrong", and "legal" vs "illegal"

gotta assume it's the first.

so, they're related, but in no way identical. there are massive differences. for instance ... when i was eight, and i told my best friend that i didn't want to be friends with her any more, and then wrote nasty things about her in chalk on the footpath outside her house (i know, i was a terrible child) that was most likely wrong. but not illegal.

for most people, i believe right and wrong are based on a personal set of moral / ethical codes. some base their personal codes on those offered by religion or by the state, but either way, right and wrong are personal. and quite subjective - especially since it's highly contextual.

legal and illegal varies enormously based on where you are, obviously, and can sometimes have very little to do with right and wrong. and often does not take context into account.

Oh. I thought the author of the thread meant the second one you mentioned. Maybe I am misunderstanding.

right: doing 80mph on a 70mph motorway with no traffic and perfect visibility
wrong: doing 30mph in a busy housing estate with kids running about with a 30mph speed limit

legal: doing 30mph in a busy housing estate with kids running about with a 30mph speed limit
illegal: doing 80mph on a 70mph motorway with no traffic and perfect visibility
