What would your life and country be like if gay marriage were legalised?
What I've heard from most of you indicates that you think it would be a 24/7 gay pride parade, decadent hell. In threads on gay marriage, apocalyptic visions abound of the unGodly corruption that would result.
I'm not just talking about America.
If you live in a country where gay marriage is legal, what are the vast differences in society before and after the legalisation?
Flame away.
Here gay marriage was on the table couple years back...
Honestly someone has to remind me... I think it's legal now, but
I DON'T remember. Anyway nothing is different now.
It wasn't big deal here, only minor arguments among politicians...
It's been legal in Ontario for a while.
They're working on getting it all over Canada, I'm not sure how that's going just now.
But yeah, nothing has changed here. Some conservatives in Alberta are pissy about the Canada wide one, but the conservative party was in power when gay marriage became legal here...

I live in a country where it's legal and I don't think the Netherlands have changed much because of that.
What would your life and country be like if gay marriage were legalised?
.
Gay pride would become a trend, and homos would kiss eachother more than they do now. Its disgusting.

Cute. Actually I notice you live in Massachusetts. Have those things happened since it was legalised there?

It was already bad, but yes, it is getting worse. Several gays have "come out of the closet" to celebrate their diversity. Its sickening.

Yup, I'm all swept up in that gay trend!!! I'm a happily married woman who has a wonderful husband and we're just all a titter with gayness...or gaydom...or whatever...HEY! We saw it on the t.v.....and if we saw it on the t.v. it must be good!
Yeah, you know, I was out walking the other day, and upon seeing a gay couple in public, I remarked to my husband of 5 years that we should just up and go gay!!! Because you know, I always allow random people and incidents to deeply influence my way of life..
Enough irony for you? Ass.
The day seeing a gay couple in public makes me go gay is the day that.....well....that I pay ANY credence what so ever to what jingoists like you say.
And oh yeah, post the same exact link twice, it really makes it hit home that way... doofus
