Do you prefer, singe, 1 1/2, or double-spaced lines when you type a document?

Double. Generally, I'm required to.

1 1/2 for the sake of easy reading, but double if I wanna take up pages.

Depends why i'm typing:

layout: single
writing: 1 1/2
proof-editing: double

I usually regard paper as a limited resource, so I almost always write single-spaced, unless I'm asked to do otherwise. >_>

Double for required things, or things that I want someone to check over after printing. Single for things that I'm just doing for the heck of it.

Single-spaced.
Alternate spacings look funny to me.

Single-spaced, unless I'm asked otherwise.

For some reason, when I read the topic title "Spacing", the first thing that came to mind was being thrown out an airlock. Probably a Babylon 5 flashback.

Used to prefer single, but since I've been required to do either 1 1/2 or double at university, I've always gone for 1 1/2, even when I can use single.

Who cares. Submit your work in electronic format, and the spacing becomes the problem of the guy at the other end. They can set it to whatever they are comfortable with.

If we're talking about that sort of spacing, I prefer to space in small groups, prferably with the other prisoners watching. Psychological torture is good.

Assuming that we're referring to reports, 1 1/2. Single is too crowded, while double is just a lot of wasted space.
