This is good, I hope this trend continues across the board with American companies.

Man, the new Mustang looks very nice. Way to go on the increase in production, Ford!

Well, so long as they're not somehow screwing the workers.

I don't think they are.

I was looking at one with my dad 2 months ago, and it was manufactured with 65% American parts. The transmission was French, and the engine was German.

65%? Meh, that's better than 25%.

Nice. I like how they hint at the classic grill design. it's good to see people buying more domestic cars.

Small anecdote: I was rear-ended at a stoplight a few weeks ago by a guy going about 45 MPH somehow, which totalled my car, a Mazda. The guy's insurance paid for a rental car, a Buick LeSabre. Very nice. I didn't like the soft shocks or the seatbelt design, but overall, a world-class car. Domestic automakers seem to be figuring things out, other than some Ford models being recalled every few days. :p

I actually own a '66 and never thought it would be toped in the new production lines. But when I say them come out I thought there was hope after all. They are cool looking. Thinking of buying one of the new ones to park next to the old classic in the garage.

Yick. I hate soft shocks... They're for spoiled old people, and the fact that the cars with them feel like they're floating is rather eerie.

Good for them, though I personally don't like Mustangs. Their T-Birds look cooler.

Wait for the cobra version at least, possibly a shelby version coming out, although that's largely rumor right now. Even the GT is too damned heavy to be a really fun car.

You can't really argue with a german engine.

From experience, I cannot personally stand most American cars, ESPECIALLY Ford. I love my Honda :). Besides, the new Mustang looks ass-ugly, IMO. (course it did before too...)
