Well I personally like apples more... But there is that rewarding feeling
when you have to peel(sp?) the orange first... Oh, this is going to hard...
I like them both, but erm... Oranges are more 'fresh like' but then again
can anything beat nice apple... no, but if you get oranges it's more likely that thay are good for it... It's rather hard to get good apple (I live in Finland)...
Apples, I have to go with apples

Is there a poll coming?

EDIT: Yay a poll... :fluffle:

Apples, if only because of apple pie. No offense to oranges, but the only orange product I like is orange juice.

I like both. But I like Apples more.

I don't like American oranges. Too sweet. Makes my teeth hurt.

I like Chinese Mandarin oranges though.

If they're hard and juicy, apples. Otherwise, oranges. I hate soft apples.

I like the taste of oranges but the peeling is just too much work - and then there's all the white stringiness - no, no, no. Give me a shiny red apple any day.

Apples, but only because I almost choked on an orange once. Oranges are easier to choke on than apples.

Orange juice trumps apple juice, though. Mm-mm, orange juice!

See, now I've said this before (when I did a simalar thread toooooooo long ago to matter) :

You can compare apples and oranges, that saying is stupid. They are both fruit. They have plenty to compare with each other. You can't compare, say, the Hegalian Dialectic and a fish taco, but apples and oranges-those things can be compared. Dammit.

And by themselves, oranges. In food, apples. Unless its chicken, then Orange Chicken rules.

Apples are good for cleansing/fasting...like celery. And you can pop 'em in a nice curry for a bit of a surprise. Not a big fan of apple pie, though cloves do add zing to the blandness...Apples are versatile, but not my favourite. They just can't beat the splooshiness of a cold navel straight out of the fridge.

Apples gave us cider,
what have oranges ever done for us? Nothing

Of course, oranges are rebels. They are too cool to have anything that rhymes with them. They also have cleaning products named after them...ever hear of Apple Pledge? Of course not! There also never was an "Agent Apple."

But, in the end, apples prevail, as they make the best pies, pancakes, vinegars, and hard ciders. Sour apples taste a lot better than sour oranges, as well.

Damn! I voted for oranges and then remembered Spartan apples. Consider the votes for oranges marked down by one, and those for apples increased by one. Apologies for any confusion and consequent inconvenience.

Thanks.
