I just got back from some dance, and my band played there! (that's why I went) It was our first gig, but people seemed to really like our stuff. Well, let's say, the people who liked it REALLY liked it. The people who didn't, just didn't. I was so nervous. I got all tired and sweaty, even though we only played like 3 songs.

R,M.D. for life! Wooo!!

Okay, best way to deal with teh tiredness:

Go home, have a warm meal, wrap yourself in a blanket and sleeeeeeeeeep....

Anyone comes near you, tries to wake you...you kill them...make them pay for their arrogance!

having been in a couple of bands i must say playing out is the greatest thing in the world even when you suck. garage bands that just practice and jam are annoying masterbation, play out or give it up, that's what its all about.

I'd have to agree with that statement. The adrenaline rush from playeing in front of a crowd and the energy the people give back when they are enjoying it... it's quite a high.

yeah, i don't mean it in a rock star way, the bands i was in were mainly at college and we only played on real club once and we bombed, but we played parties every weekend for free beer and glory and it was great. when your in the band its like the you're connected to everything at the party in a total way, you're part of the pagantry of life.

Get back to me when you've done sound for 21 bands at a two day festival and we'll talk real tiredness.
