Your poll wasn't up before; I thought you meant web-based shows, not web browsers. Wrong kind of program. :D

I change my answer to Firefox.

I always thought Netscape was the best but then I found that I liked Internet Explorer. I really like IE and will stick with it even though I have been experiencing some problems with it. I see that firefox gets rave reviews - and I have heard a lot of people brag about Opera. So many to choose from, huh?

I can't get that blasted Firefox to work properly. It says it needs to download Flash, but it never does when I tell it to. So I'm forced to stick with IE. I'd like to try Firefox, really, but when the mofo won't work...

I switched to Firefox because of the sheer volume of spyware I got from Internet Explorer. Now I only keep IE on my computer because a couple of sites I go on don't work with Firefox.

if your using XP then you can run explorer in normal user mode when surfing the net so that you dont have rights to install software, that stops the majority of b/s that puts itself on ur computer, rather tahn being in admin mode all the time

I used to use Mosaic, back during the first Clinton administration, so I feel pretty comfortable with this entry. ;) I remember at the time I didn't see what the big deal was, because I already had FTP, lol.

firefox! pretty much the same as opera, a few less features, but costs money for opera, from what i heard
Densim

Firefox, absolutely. If you think it has fewer features, you need to check out the extensions (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/?os=Windows&application=firefox).

The BugMeNot extension alone makes it worth it. FoxyTunes, ConQuery, Adblock, Sage, Bandwidth Tester are all awesome too. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Not to mention, with all those extensions and more, it's still a fraction of the size of IE.
