OK, seriously to all those who know and love Solid Snake and all the others (Raiden, Liquid, Ocelot, Big Boss, Grey Fox etc), who is your favourite character and why?
Mine is Solid Snake. SImply the coolest character ever thought up, I salute Hideo Kojima for his creations

I think raiden is great...can't really specify why but i still think he's cool
Hmm. I voted grey fox. He and snake are definitely the best, but I love swordfights. So he takes my vote.

Just finished MGS3, and I have to say, having completed all of them, my favourite characters are, in descending order:
1) The Sorrow
2) Young Ocelot
3) Psycho Mantis
MGS2 was definitely the worst of the three (but that's hardly a bad thing, seeing what it's up against), so no candidates from there, I'm 'fraid.

Revolver Ocelot, follow by Psycho Mantis. Revolver had style, and one of the silliest names to hit a video game since... I can't even think of a good comparison.

Any game character who has a canon masturbation scene will get my vote.
Revolver Ocelot. He is a perfect combination of badass gunslinger and enigmatic mastermind.

Grey Fox. I like the whole persona of being from a bygone era, yet when present, still dwarfs much of the modern day stuff. Just simply wielding the sword as he does, gives a sense of honor, of an ancient line of battle: Getting up close and personal, so close you can see the emotions behind the eyes, the fear, the rage, the hatred.
That is what combat is all about, that is why I love Grey Fox.
Besides, that exoskeleton is cool! :P

I went for Ocelot too. Strange how he is still liked when it is heavily hinted that he raped Meryl in MGS. I can't explain it, he's just got that Lee Van Cleef from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" appeal.
Anyone see the HBO series "Deadwood"? Keith Carradine would be perfect to play Ocelot.
