Ouuuuuch!!
It's 4:20 AM here and I have an awful earache. I've been up since 1:45, unable to sleep for the pain. I saw my doctor yesterday and I walked out with a butt full of shots and a bunch of prescriptions, but they haven't had time to work yet. I'm taking a sick day from work today so I have a long day of agonized boredom in front of me. Somebody, please, entertain me and take my mind off my problem.

have you tried wrapping a hot water bottle up in a towel and holding it to your ear? it was helps when I have earache

You could always try gaming. There's got to be some game that you will find funny. Or you could visit the spam forum and post some random, weird posts. Or you could watch some random movies at a site like newgrounds. And if you haven't read anything (or everything) at "The Best Page In The Universe", doing so should give you quite a few laughs. That's all I can think of.

I've been laying on a heating pad. Doc gave me a Rx for a nasal spray that is supposed to open up my sinuses and let the crud drain out. I use it then lay on the heating pad for 15 minutes. I'm also taking an antibiotic pill that's about the size of a palmetto bug. The pain med he gave me isn't cutting it. I'm just miserable and grumpy and dizzy as hell. I just want to have a few grins to make me feel better.

:( ok, well http://www.onemorelevel.com/games/interactivebuddy.html that kept me entertained for hours once i'd figured out what to do. just move the guy around and beat him up and stuff and you get money, then you can buy skins (like Bush, Kerry, teletubby, Micheal Moore, etc) and weapons (flamethrowers, grenades and stuff)

I have a downloaded game, Geneforge II, that I've been working on...but it's driving me crazy. My guy and his creatures keep getting whupped by this thing that won't die. Die, thing, die!!

My husband is still asleep...lucky jerk...and the bass in the earphones makes it worse. No good movies on the tube. Even my dogs are still in bed!!

I haven't had one in years. This is just another little gift from the flu I had this winter. Next year, if there's a flu shot shortage again, I'm going to lie if I have to to get that shot. Meh...

why did you guys have a shortage? I heard something about u guys not being able to get some off the canadians cos u didnt think they were good enough or something???
We are just about to go into our winter but we have a shortage can the ones we got are from france and the bastards only gave us half strength ones so they have to double up (meaning only half the people they thought will be able to get them) :(
