I've been stabbed before but i've always sort of wanted to get shot, so i'd take shot, so long as it didnt leave me disabled.

What about a standard police issue 9mm berretta? 1 round in the leg.

It depends on if the bullet passes through and if the knife is left in..

Im going with shot cause 3 inch blade in my leg dosent sound too nice.

Bullets have lead. They cause collateral damage, thus meaning that a bullet wound will inflict more damage than a direct stab.

I'd definately take the knife over the bullet.

The bullet doesn't hit bone, it is either lodged in your flesh or passes through the other side without contact with bone, and no major arteries or organs are struck.

I'd say stabbed. Shot is probably more of that kind of pain where you feel like you have to move even though it doesn't help. Being stabbed sounds like that kind of pain where all of your attention is on that one place. I can stand the second more than the first.

Knives bleed more and if the bastard twists its a real prick id imagine!

if you aimed for one of the sides of the chest my lung would only be hit.

Assuming the bullet does pass clean through, I'll take the bullet.
However, if the bullet strikes the femur, the knife.

I have it on good authority* that a broken femur is the single most painful injury .

It completely depends on the type of gun used. A rifle round breaks the sound barrier and the wake of it doing that when it hits your body is way worse than a handgun round. Also depends on the size and type of the knife. I mean a ceramic blade could slice through the bone like butter, but a small pocketknife might not be so bad compared to a gunshot.

Sharper knives hurt a lot less than blunt ones... initially. But once you're cut, the size and depth of the cut more determines the amount of pain than the sharpness of the knife that did it.

Well they had to leave some of the shells/rounds in his hip he was so riddled with them.After the war he still managed to play Rugby at the second highest level.NZ Maori.
