Was the Hebrew language hard to learn?
Well, thats kind of a tough question. I would say its not that hard, because I picked it up quickly. Most words have 3 or 4 meanings so its hard to keep up with them all. I won't say its hard, but it still takes alot of effort to learn.

English - fluently
Spanish - fluently (exept for high level discussions like theorical physics)
French - enough for a short holiday
German - been studying for 1 yr.
Hebrew - very basic knowledge but still learning
No, I don't find Hebrew too difficult. The 2 things that have helped me the most are keeping an open mind on how languages express ideas and try to find similarities with languages you already know. A lot of vocab is completely new, but there is a lot of borrow vocab in Hebrew from modern langauges. The verb system is rather different from European languages, though, due to the changes in vowels depending on tense and person.

It was 3.
English is primary.
I could speak Polish very well and my Kanto dialect Japanese was pretty good but not fluent. Writing both was adequate but not stellar.
I have pretty much lost the last 2 from disuse.

This sort of uncalled-for discrimination is exactly why I left out Rodian, Tusken and Yuuzhan Vong from my list of languages.

I'm fluent in English (all varieties), conversational in Spanish (mainly Latin American), and interested in learning French (probably Caribbean, if it's any different), Russian, German, and Japanese (I can say "hello" and count one through five), although my main interest next would be Russian, I think.

i speak english as well as an american can speak the bloody language. i'm very bitter towards it now. i studied french for five years in school, and have forgotten just about all of it. i can read it pretty well and understand it, but i cannot understand it very well when listening to it and i definitely can no longer formulate my own sentances using the grammar and vocabulary. however, i've been studying japanese for....gosh, almost seven years now. i'm pretty fluent in it speaking wise, but i'm still only at about a 4th grade reading level -_-;; if i could have my way, i'd forget english and just speak japanese for the rest of my life
I only speak one fluently, that's English. Studied Spanish for a year in school, so I can have a passable (albeit short) conversation. And I know a seemingly random list of japanese words. Currently though, I'm actually trying to invent a language. It's insanely confusing.
Dutch, French, English, German (a little)
Fluently 1- English
Hesitant 2- Russian, French
