So when does this debate take place?

I'm about to make the threads for each of them right now. :)

I'll start a team to debate who won the debate you bet on.

Ok, politics debate, about elections in the USA and UK. Those who think the current systems are good and fair, and those who think they are corrupt and undemocratic. We got any takers?
I'll be for the one who thinks they're corrupt. SO post here if interested.

Next idea, and a much more interesting one in my opinion. Israel, has long (imo) been hated by the UN, which has passed a lot of resolutions denouncing them. My question is, why are Israel still in the UN? What do they gain from it?

Israel should leave the UN:

Interesting idea. I think that Israel should leave the UN for the same reasons that I think that the US should leave, that being that it's an ineffective body. It's turning into the League of Nations.

Hmm, unfortunately we already have three debaters for that side, we now need three who think they should stay....

Is there nobody who believes Israel should stay in the UN?

sure, I do. Im sure there are others too, but Im not interested in joining an elitist, exclusive debate club. If you wanna debate this topic, post it in public, Im sure people will respond.

First of all, its not elitist, everyone was given a chance to join. If I post it in public, I'll get a ton of morons posting "Rawwwwwwr! Israel is teh evil, :sniper: :mp5: :sniper:". I am looking for some form of interesting debate, only reason I even bother debating is for the fun in it, and its sure no fun debating against people who probably couldn't point out Israel on a map. So if you want to join, feel free, if not, please keep comments like this out.

Its easy to ignore the people who say stupid stuff. Thats what you are gonna end up doing anyway because the mods arent supporting you. So, go ahead and start the debate in public and Ill join in. Ill probably join in anyway regardless if Im interested, so might as well not pretend an exclusive debate club exists.

You see, the "exclusive debate club"( ) means that its 3 V 3. Only the six participants debate, anyone else just gets ignored. So feel free to join in, because the club does exist;)
