Animal senses

Can animals sense if a person is going to be good to them or bad? Lets take two people. Person A is very nice to animals, he has a cat and dogs that he takes very good care of it. He also welcomes any stray that stops by his house, and he'll give them food and water and then set them on their way. While Person B doesn't take care of his cats and dogs. He doesn't even show compassion towards other animals, espically strays.

Lets assume that a cat is put in between person A and Person B, who will the cat choose? I guess the question is, can animals sense a good animal person or a bad one?

I personally believe they can.

I think animal-lovers are more open and inviting to other animals. I do think animals can sense this.

Yes, animals have this kind of sense. I'm not going to pick A or B though. Person A may seem to have good intent and good character but that's not enough proof of judgement to a cat. That's why this a "sense" they have.

Not to mention that if an animal is hungry enough, they will take food from people. Even if they don't like the person. If an animal does take food from you, it's not necessarily a sign of acceptance.
