What with all the moans and goans that arise everytime I eat, erm, I mean every time someone makes a spelling mistake or grammatical error, I thought it appropriate that we should find out once and for all who is the most accurate speller on NS.

It's quite simple, one person says a word, such as:

vestibule
and then the next spells it out and then repeats the word, eg:

F-L-A-T-U-L-E-N-C-E. Flatulence.

Then that person chooses the next word for the next person to spell. I'll start you off:

precission

wtf

precission
you misspelled precision

Spelling bees confuse me in general. For instance, why a spelling BEE and not, say, a spelling wasp? Also, what sort of a freakish child knows how to spell all those words anyhoo? It's just all strangeness.

If hippopotamos is the singular, and hippopotami is the plural... why is scampi a plural but the singular is scampoo? why doesn't our confusing english language say hippopotamoo or scampos :confused:
