And its 'W00T!'
My grandad found an Atari 2600 today, he's giving it to me.
I love my grandparents ^_^

This is especialy great because we have this local store called Bookmans, that buys and sells books/games, they have a huge tub full of Atari games.
The only downside is that the paddle controllers are missing, and one of the joystick controls wont turn left, so Im stuck to singleplayer, but none the less...
W00T!

Hotness. My grandfather used to have one. I remember playing some action RPG on it, and some strategy game that I think was called "Squadron". It was so rad.

Meh, I had an original Atari 2600 from 1976, and I didn't make a big deal out of it. The games really aren't all that fun, you know.

Are we thinking of the same system?
I dont think the 2600 could handle an RPG, I mean, the most high-tech game of the time was Adventure, which you might be thinking of...

EDIT for Potaria:
Well, I enjoy them :P

I miss playing the original Pitfall, I use to rent the SNES version of it and get to the 2nd stage where they had a warp to play the original game, and then when you died in the original, you didn't lose a life, you just went back to the beginning of stage 2, so I just kept going back to the warp over and over again and never made it past that point in the game, it was awesome.
Cannot think of a name

I had Pong, I feel down right ancient. Though-there is no way I could have a grandson old enough to type much less care whether he just got an Atari, so I'm thinkin' that they just had some hip grandparents....that's what I'm stickin' to...
