What's your favourite element? C'mon, you know what I'm talking about.

I like Neptunium. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neptunium

Good one.

But I don't think that's the "lithium" Nirvana was referring to . . .

Now, I don't know a damn thing about Nirvana, but I've taken a couple of chem classes...what's the other lithium?

A favourite element is hard to pick. I always thought the transition metals were pretty sexy. But I tell you my least favourite: iodine. Hands down, iodine is the worst element ever. Who the hell invented that stuff?

I'm so happy 'cause today i found my friends
They're in my head
I'm so ugly
That's okay 'cause so are you
We've broken our mirrors
Sunday morning is everyday for all i care
And i'm not scared
Light my candles in a daze
'Cause i found God

Yeah, yeah, yeah (x6)
Yeah!

I'm so lonely, that's okay, i shaved my head
And i'm not sad
And just maybe i'm to blame for all i've heard
But i'm not sure
I'm so excited, i can't wait to meet you there
And i don't care
I'm so horny, that's okay my will is good

Yeah, yeah, yeah (x6)
Yeah!

I like it... i'm not gonna crack
I miss you... i'm not gonna crack
I love you... i'm not gonna crack
I kill you... i'm not gonna crack
I like it... i'm not gonna crack
I miss you... i'm not gonna crack
I love you... i'm not gonna crack
I kill you... i'm not gonna crack

I'm kind of partial to Oxygen and Hydrogen. Carbon, too. If you set aside all the elements we need to live, Gold is right up there on top. Platinum doesn't seem to have much of a market.

Before I get jumped on by the chemists, you are correct. Lithium is used in Lithium Carbonate, which is to what Nirvana was referring (see my post above).

I'll go take more of my medication now.

In high school chemistry class, a friend of mine on a tested guessed "Ca" was Canadium (named after Canada, of course) and "Si" was Sports Illustrated. So those are my favorites. Canadium and Sports Illustrated. *nods*

I like tungsten for it's highest melting point of all metals and overall durability.
