Alright. I plan to go into this field, so I've some questions....

Where did you graduate from? What are some good schools for journalism? What are the hours? Ummm....What do you think of the state of American media today? Do you believe that newspapers will eventually be fazed out?

Sorry for the mydrad of questions, I'm just madly curious, and also nosy. And I've never actually spoken to a journalist, so I'd love to know what its like before I jump headlong into that career. ^^

Did you ever get to say "Stop the presses!", and what is the requirement to do so?

As a journalist shouldn't you be asking the questions?

My student newspaper :D

For my school paper I'm usually after up to five hours for a week to complete my article, then anywhere from 10 to 20 working at our copyreading/layout sections (we're a monthly paper).

I think the current media state is terrible; and I hope newspapers are never fazed out.

Why? (journalism that is, not ask you a question about it.)

Dude, Super-Power, can you answer his questions please? I'm also looking into the career and I would've asked very similar questions. (I also write for my school newspaper)

Scroll back up a post or two and you'll see what I said (BTW I'm only student reporter myself)

What is Blogging?
It's where a journalist or a news source posts news-breaking stories in their blogs (weblogs) - that's the best definition I can give you

Can I be a blogger? Or do I actually have to work for someone to blog?

You can be a blogger, but unless people *really* know you're a credible source, you might be frowned upon

Sorry about that, Super-Power. I forgot you were a student. How old are you anyway? I'm 15, a sophomore.
