what did you do today? thats all i'm asking... not an essay just something or other :)

me, i did fuck all on purpose today, got stoned with my housemate all day, played a shitload of videogames (burnout 3... love it;)) and recorded a song. clicky here (http://www.hlj.me.uk/awesome%205.mp3) if you wanna listen (we spent a few hours on it :cool: )

My day consisted of getting up, going to school, and getting on NS.
That's about all.

Woke up a 6am, had some Captain Crunch, went off to school...learned nothing...came home, had some Mac 'N Cheeze (Thick and Creamy) and watched Underworld on Cinemax (It was good).

Stayed at home, hooray for Spring Break, played some Gran Turismo 4, worked on homework, watched tv. Nothing all that special. :D

Got up, took a shower, almost missed the bus talking online, went to school, came home, cleaned house, sat at my computer.

Today I went to buy a cake and a card for my fathers birthday

Then I played jedi academy on the computer

And I just got a call back from a call center that I applied at and they told me I got the job, so I start there monday

And later I plan on getting ready to go on a trip to Toronto tomorrow, I am going to see the sportsman show there

I came on here

Don't any of y'all work? Not that I can talk. I spent most of the day unpacking in my new apartment and setting up various accounts for services and whatnot. I did spend about an hour at work, but most of it was reading this forum ;-).

I woke up at 4:45 am, quickly showered and darted off to Tim Hortons (after my commute) at about 5:45 where I purchased a large black coffee and two plain bagels with plain cream cheese. I sat on one of the benches outside the Timmy Ho's in the breaking dawn admiring the pink blossoms on the apricot trees while I ate my bagels, then went off to work (at about 6). Ive been here in the office all day, since rain has delayed all site visits for the duration. I made a few phonecalls, worked on some drawings then dropped into NS, where I've been popping in sporatically all day. Got mad at a troll for disrespecting Jamil's late mother, then had a bite to eat at the White Spot down the road. Its now 2:25pm, Im tired, and a little unhappy about the weather, since its not really stormy (which I like) yet not clear and bright (which I also enjoy) - - its just sort of... bleah! You know! ;) So now Im sitting here, thinking a little, working a little, posting a little, wishing I was with someone all curled up, snuggling and warm under a mountain of blankets... but Im here, so I watch the minutes drool past, and smile because sooner or later Ill be wrapped up in somebodys arms somewhere.

lets see.. got up, ate some luckey charms knock off (which is actually better that the "real" crap) played world of warcraft :) went to school slept/learned nothing, now im at work for the next 4 1/2 hrs then i go home eat and play world of warcraft some more :) then sleep for like 4 hrs cuz im too dumb to shut it off an go to bed...

Filled out two transfer applications, ate a bologna sandwich, and posted on NS.

Gave speech therapy to high school kids (this is my job i do it a lot)
Ran a Brownie meeting
Made spaghetti bolognase (i know my spelling sucks...you do better!)
Did a mountain of washing up

I did some shopping(grocery) and I stopped at the clown shop for a new nose. Due to an unforeseeable incident at the children's hospital this past monday, I needed a new one.

I took my son out for a drive. He laughed when his daddy swore at a numbnuts dork who shouldn't be allowed to drive a car. Then when we got home, we took a nap. I just woke up. My mom is coming to pick up my son to spend some quality time with him. I'll have the house to myself tonight. :)

Haha, yeah - I get carried away... the worst part is, I was going to go further. I get that way when I've been cooped up in an office all day, a little kooky I know! I just keep telling myself that Im going to leave at a respectable time tonight - which mean I only have two or three hours to go. :)

Woke up at about 10.30...came on NS, while still in bed...finally got up...had shower...got dressed...into uni about 12.30...finished essay around 14.30...played chess...spent some time with a friend, wandering around, doing absolutely nothing for an hour or so (it's what I always do with her, and I always enjoy it)...finished bibliography for essay...handed essay in (5 days early, a record for me)...came on NS again...went home...went on NS again...started listening to Sisters of Mercy...had dinner (vegetable stir fry and egg noodles)...watched tv (Blackadder II)...came on NS again...and that's my day up until now.

I'm behind on some sociology coursework, so I was meaning to spend today working on it. However, my 5 year old nephew has come to stay with my family and I discovered a MASSIVE box of lego in the loft. 7 hours of lego fun later, I'm making a start on my coursework.

I hate then when a little kid comes to your house with toys and you find yourself more fascinated and wanting to play then they are.

A child of that age carries with them the same seriousness in playing as we adults (insanely enough) carry in our work. I dont want children, but we all stand to learn from them. We all stand to learn a lot. ;)

I skied down from the Aiguille du midi, after the weekend we attack Mont Blanc in ski mountaineering style and ski it down (extreme ski), just like we do each spring since 1998...

This morning I went to bed at 4:00, after tossing and turning all night. When I woke up at 9:00, my alarm was going off and I jumped out of bed and took a shower. When I got out I had the tough choice of....hair curly? hair straight? and decided on curly. I got dressed (jeans from Chloe, white shirt from Gap, knit poncho from Theory, LT heels) and ran to work because I had to help set up for a lunch for 150 people. I set up for 2 hours and at 12:45ish I headed back home. I grabbed lunch (brussel sprouts w/ latkas and pears) and then took a nap from 2:00-3:00. I have to work later tonight (perhaps) if I get paged to come into the hospital, and I'm crossing my fingers that they end up being overstaffed, and not needing me.

Hi, Vallée Blanche (from the Aiguille du Midi) is one of the favorite spots in the world for the better skier or ski mountaineer. Il live in the Alps and it is still something special, specially with such fine weather and good conditions:

Nice to meet you Via!, Im Lyle, and I'm a rider (snowboarding) from West Coast Canada. I've been to a few places in the states, and have ridden most of the mountains in Western Canada, but I have always wanted to ride the famed Chamonix Valley! Its so beautiful, and looks to offer so much technical challenge! Oooh! Im soo jealous! Mmmm!! :)

I went to school... did a maths test... played soccer... came home... played the drums... ate tea (i ate brekkie and lunch and random choc snacks too) and came on here :) Tomorrow i have sportsday and Youth Group

Hmmm, today is not yet really happening, but yesterday I started clearing out my college room for the holiday, did about five minutes work, ate cake, went ringing, and finished the day in the pub with the ringers. A very good day.
