How fast wdo you reckon that bike was going?

Out of interest, what's the fastest anyone here's driven?
I used to own an RX-7 that had been dechipped and modified. I'm not sure of the exact speed I got to as the speedo only went to 180km, but I did get the needle to go right round to the 0km point again. I figure about 220, maybe 230km/hr.

Don't know if I'd do that again now. As you get older it eventually dawns on you that travelling at those speeds is going to end up with you either dead or losing your car and licence for a very long time. And it's such a stupid, cliched way to die.

Anyway, still curious. :)

I've done @115 mph in an enduro kart at Sears Point Raceway. Laying flat on your back with the engine next to your head, thats pretty fast.

In my 914 I did @105-110, which is about it for that car. But hey, it's old...

In my Chevy I did 100+, and while there was a chance I could have known what the plus was I'm glad that the cop in the trap wasn't ready for someone to go by that fast...(he finally caught up with me a couple turns later saying he clocked me at @85 mph braking for a turn. Ah, youth...)

Now I drive a VW Bus because, well-partly because of whats above here...in that I think 80 while drafting a semi...

Fastest I have ever driven is 134mph (ish) in my dads Mercedes E240 on a stretch of 44 Autobahn in germany...don't want anything to pull out at that speed!

I really have to hit the autobahn before it is no more. First though I need the money to get to Germany from California and then the money to put something worthwhile out there. Until then I'll have to content myself with living a mile or so away from the Pacific Highway...w-with my slow ass bus....
