I was walking to a lecture at uni yesterday, and I was hit by a sudden bout of blasphemous thought: I could skip this lecture, and take a bus over to UNSW, and see my brother in his break.
Or I could go to the fifty minutes of statistical theory and be bored out of my mind, hungry, tired, and in desperate need of caffeine.

I skipped a lecture, AND IT FELT GOOD.

Now I know how arts students feel.
Cannot think of a name

Why bother with College?

One day you'll stop a bullet, and it'll all be wasted. :(

In college, I passed the lecture times by "working" on my laptop :D

I would take a laptop in, but it looks a tad suspicious opening a laptop in a maths/stats lecture. :(

Hertfordshire did the stupid thing of putting a pub in the middle of the most direct route from my flat to my lecture hall. Makes it damn difficult to get to lectures, especially ones that start at 5pm.

A little advice I got from a Welshman - Get 'em up against a cliff, they push back harder.

Being a social sciences students isn't too easy either. Poly Sci majors have to read an absurdly large amount of stuff. My one class, I basically have to become a Supreme Court Justice and write up opinions and such on made up cases using previous cases, strict scrutiny, etc. in order to justify them. Not easy.

Oh boo-hoo. Try being a aerospace engineering masters student. That's hard work.

I have friends who are engineers. My friend Michelle graduated from Penn State in chemical engineering. She took 18 credits a semester and worked a part time job and managed to get a 3.5. She said it wasn't that overly challenging at all.

I find my workload is just the same as my engineering friends here at Pitt as well. Granted, we aren't masters students, but I will be. I'll complain when I'm in law school more.

Oooh, love Newtown. I'm there tomorrow night for a comedy gig, actually (GUD at @Newtown).

I'm not actually at uni - I'm at Ultimo TAFE. It's pretty much next door to UTS.
