Very, it overheated my 256MB ATI 9800XT to the point I had to underclock it to run right.

not sure any of these, especially the older ones are for xbox, but some very violent games are

Ya know, aside from some blood . . . I didn't like Doom III. Yeah, the Hell level was kinda cool, but . . . they coulda done so much with the engine and all. instead, they went totally old school and I think wasted a perfect opportunity to expand the Doom franchise. Come on, if I wanted to play Doom, I'd play DOOM, not Doom III. 'sides, I get more blasphemy and such from the music I listen to and my room decor. Geez, torso's implanted on walls . . . I wanna hear screams, baby. Gimme some graphic scenes of rape! Something . . .

I much perfered Half-Life 2, but I'm a PC person so I don't even know if it's out on any consoles yet. Oh, by the way.

Those all have nothing on Manhunt, you know when the whole game revolves around a rating system where you get graded on how gruesome you kill some one there is something fucked up. It's the snuff version of Hitman. There is a difference between the violence in obviously fantasy stuff and just gruesome killing

I don't think you understand the fact you get more points for killing people more gruesomely. It was made by Rockstar, it isn't exactly little pissant HL2 "violence"

HL2 is hilarious from what I saw in the demo, I'm probably going to buy it tomorrow (collector's edition, 49.99 at gamestop) sicne I cashed my state tax refund check today

Any game made by Rockstar tends to be violent and graphic in nature- Manhunt on top of the list even above the GTA series.

Nothing new there: you were able to do that in Doom II.

I find tearing them apart with your bare hands after taking a berserk medikit was infinitely more satisfying. :p

In any case, I dont know of other games where you can urinate in people's faces and make them throw up.

Then pour gasoline on them and set them on fire.

Then let them crawl around screaming and charred for five minutes before killing them with a shovel.

Manhunt by a long way, a game where you make a snuff film for a director who holding ure family hostage, best played with a headset on so u can hear the director right in ure ear.

Thrill Kill (which was never released), the Mortal Kombat series, the Grand Theft Auto series, and Street Fighter are among the most violent games.

If PC games are acceptable answers, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is actually really violent. I particularly like the stealth-kill mode of attack, where you can sneak up behind someone, give the ol' sledgehammer a 360 swing in the air and belt it right into the side of someone's head, tossing them across the room like a rag doll. :D
