A lot of us were way too young to remember a little man named quayle

but looking through some of his speaches I have found "bushisms" are hardly a new concept ... qualisms were around even before (and probably more isms before quayle)

So here is my thread dedicated to quayleisms

It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.
- Dan Quayle

It's wonderful to be here in the great state of Chicago...
- Dan Quayle

I stand by all the misstatements that I've made.

"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a 'part' of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a 'part' of Europe."

"Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children."

"For NASA, space is still a high priority."

Well, I STILL think Bush is an idiot, you only succeeded in proving that so is Quayle. :)
However, Bush isn't only an idiot, he's a DANGEROUS idiot. Quayle is a village idiot, Bush is a red-button-pressing idiot. ;)

Bush is hilarious, but so sounds the other guy. Was he a red-button-pressing idiot, too? That would be creepy. Two red-button-pressing idiots in the same century...

Dubya, Quayle, and Thabo Mbeki should join together as a stand-up comedy team. The laughs would be guaranteed! :D
