I'll build my own car! (Or get someone to do it for me). It'd have to be:

- Running on an alternative fuel. Electricity would be cool, then I could charge it at my house, which would be powered by solar panels or a windmill in my backyard.

- Comfortable. Roomy, and with some decent cargo space.

- Reasonably powerful. Should be able to keep up with and pass traffic atleast.

- Small-ish and light-ish. It would have to be constructed well to be small and roomy, but I'll get it done.

- Good looking. No outrageous stuff, just some decent curves and smooth lines.

Dream car?

A tank which has been remade with a process which uses CO2 as fuel. The tank can do 0-60 ~4s, it drives like a car (not sure how I'd pull that off) and I get to have live rounds in it. Oh, and there's a minibar in the back :D

When VW brought Buggati, the dude in charge said that they would build a car that has 1000bhp and does 250mph...and then they realised they would actually have to do it once theyd said they would

so theyve spend the last 5 or 6 years trying to get it to happen - theyve had a huge number of problems...from getting a gearbox that would handle the tourque, from getting the car not to take off, brakes etc, they even got Michelin to spend a few years developing a tyre that could take the loads and still be safe...

it will be an incredible feat of engineering when they launch it

well, the supercar market tends to go through waves, and right now its riding the crest of a wave...so maybe itll crash back down again and bring prices of second hand ones down
