Hmmm, at the moment I can't get enough of Live's cover of I Walk the Line, originally by Johnny Cash.

Other than that, Innuendo by Queen
Lightning Crashes by Live
Kashmir by Zep
and...

Sehnsucht by Rammstein. Those four songs are definitely permanent members of this list. :D

QUITE good? Rammstein are awesome!

And weird is good. They're actually very smart and kinda artsy when you watch interviews with them. Haha, on one of their recent ones, the interviewer asks Til whether touring in the US has influenced them at all. Before the question was even finished, Til replies with a very short "nein."

The camera then pans to the cheeky grin on his face. :D

Anyway, my favorite song's changed to "Time Is Tight" by The Clash. It's one hell of an instrumental. It's really relaxing, especially in its vinyl form (which I'm listening to. It's a vinyl rip, damnit!).

Sounds like something John Lydon would do, though a lot less confrontational and outrageous.

Hmm..this one is hard..the one I'm obsessed with right now is "Next Episode" by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

I haven't been an original hip hop fan, it's been a recent transformation. I'm still more of an Emo, Screamo, Rock, Hard Rock, and Classic Rock fan..as well as Baroque and Romanticist music.

They're not weird. They pretentious! The Residents are weird.
My tastes vary according to how I'm feeling and what I'm doing. I also like listening not to one particular song but to the artist.
At the moment I've got on high rotate:
Einstürzende Neubauten (especially like their song The Garden)
Tom Waits (Sins of my Father is cool, as is What is he building in there? and Empty Pockets & Broken Bicycles)
The Young Gods (one of my all-time favourite bands)
Theoloniuos Monk

Ain't that the truth. I don't even know if I consider AC/DC Metal-they're just rock and roll to me, they play what rock is supposed to be about-great guitars, great music, and lyrics that aren't just stupid, for lack of a better word. Their variety is something else, too-on Back in Black, we go from Hell's Bells, which is a dark, almost intimidating sounding song, to Shoot to Thrill, which is fast paced and basically fun. Hell's Bells is my song for boxing, followed closely by either Shoot to Thrill or TNT.

Yeah, happens to me, too. All at once a new melody comes, and I'm thinking "holy shit, I have to remember this one". Then I forget it five minutes later, and it comes back in about six months.

The best way to do it is to record yourself humming the melody. Sadly, I don't have a microphone with which to perform such a task, therefore I'm screwed.

But seriously, you've gotta hear "Time Is Tight". I can hook you up with a minute-long sample if you want (note that a sample is perfectly legal, since it's not the whole song).

right now my favourite is Salvation by Biohazard (cos i just got the lyrics & i like em :) )

Someday I hope to rise above material chains which hold me down
To turn my anger into love and keep my feet planted on the ground.
To undo stigmas societies branded, misconceptions about being a man.
To be grateful, take nothing for granted, to live the truth as best I can.

I seek the truth whatever that may be.
I seek the answers to questions, please God help me.

To look at people and see no color, vision clear of prejudice or spite,
To treat people just like my brother, for this I pray with all my might.
To learn to let go of all my fears and learn to embrace all of my tears,
To search for faith and humility, to walk the path which sets me free

Salvation, from society, damnation, have mercy on me.

So many lies I told, so many lives I've sold.
So far away from who I am I never understand.
So many things I regret, so many things that I let
Take me away from myself, too late to take it back.

So many dreams I had, so many lives I've lived
So many friends I said goodbye forever
So many times I wish, so many times I dream.
Do it again, I swear I'd never.

In my quest to uncover the truth the deepest wounds get left behind
As I seek serenity from the war, from the war inside my mind.

As was I...Well, I guess I was born in the 80's, but it was the end of the 80's, so that doesn't count...

As of right now it's either "Breathe No More" from Evanescence or their cover version of "Thoughtless".

Kashmir by Led Zepplin has to be one of my favorite Rock songs. As far as favorite song of all time, it has to be Beethoven's 9th symphony. The song is probably as close to perfect as you are going to get from any other song. You can defenitelly see the greatness of the song because they played it the christmas the Berlin Wall fell. It is probably the best recording of that song because the event made the song even more meaningful.

There's an instrumental, Beethoven's 5th, that is pretty good. It was done by The Electric Light Orchestra
