A man dressed in black kicks in the door of his ex-girlfriend, who happens to be with the agency and happens to have been instrumental in his misuse and betrayal. For three days he holds her hostage with a machine gun and interrogates her about why his handlers have stabbed him in the back.
The police are called, he is arrested and put in jail. His protection from on high is gone. No one would believe his stories of intrigue.
A long career in a prison cell seems inescapeable.
Inescapable perhaps for somone not such a well trained soldier, spy and assassin.
After his home-made knives are found and seized, the agent decides to risk it all and disables a guard with his bare hands, stealing his gun.
Assuming, rightly or otherwise, that the judge is in on the conspiracy which would rob him of his freedom, he uses the stolen pistol to make an example to those who would try to cross such a dangerous man.
Ten minutes later he is gone, employing his tradecraft to dissapear into the city.
I got deja vu when I read about the shooting of a judge in atlanta today. Ive seen that before, in cheesy spy movies.
